Chenzhou, with beautiful natural landscape and fertile land, is a happy and peaceful place suitable for living. Chenzhou cuisine features its local wild and fresh ingredients based on aromatic and spicy Hunan cuisine.

 

A group of international diners came to Chenzhou to experience the Yao nationality’s unique dustpan banquet in a wonderful cave restaurant with constant temperature. They tasted the Tung leaf baba, taro duck, tofu, etc., and listened to the restaurateur who returned from overseas and shared his innovation experiences. 

 

 

Besides, they also tasted Dongjiang fish in a firewood fish restaurant, listened to the story of the fishermen who gave up fishing and developed a new environmental protection technology for fish farming. 

 

Moreover, they experienced the charm of Chenzhou’s intangible cultural heritage in the ancient historical and cultural blocks, tasted local dishes such as Chenzhou fish rice noodles and Yongxing Roast Chicken, made glutinous rice cakes by hand with the inheritor of Dahe glutinous rice cakes of She ethnic group, and listened to the introduction of traditional handicrafts by the inheritor of Dabujiang embroidery. 

 

 

During the tour, the guests were deeply attracted by Chenzhou’s delicious food, as well as the history, culture and innovation behind the food. Chi Pu, a singer from Vietnam, couldn’t help saying, “I love Chenzhou and I want to live here!”

 

Chenzhou is the third stop in Hunan Province where "A Delicious Guess” was filmed.
